The Summit Bible Church

Summit Bible Church is a New Testament bible-based church situated in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria. It was founded on the 1st of November 1998 by Pastors Andrew and Ndidi Osakwe at the leading of the Holy Spirit; its inaugural service was held in the sitting room of their home in Kado Estate, Abuja, with eleven people in attendance.

Since its inception, the church has grown into a global ministry with a large congregation overseen by Pastors Andy and Ndidi Osakwe supported by an associate pastor, several assistant pastors, a robust church office staff and voluntary workforce. With its headquarters in Kaura District, Abuja, the church currently has six branches in Abuja-FCT (Kubwa, Kuje, Kabusa, Lugbe, Nyanya and Gwagwalada), one in Keffi, Nasarawa State, one in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and one in Kissimmee, Florida, USA.

The Summit also has several ministries and fellowships, which include the Ekklesia Teens Church (the teenage church), Church in Antioch (the children’s church), Winning Women (the women’s fellowship), Man of Purpose (the men’s fellowship), the Singles Network and the Summit Youth Changemakers Fellowship. There are several service teams where people who love to work for the Lord find a place to express their passions and desires.

In line with the Summit vision, which is, To see a revived, reformed and restored world operating with God’s kingdom culture, Pastors Andy and Ndidi Osakwe have endeavoured to teach the uncompromised word of God both locally and globally. God’s abundant blessings are seen manifested daily in the lives of members as testimonies of God’s faithfulness are shared regularly.

Pastor Andy’s messages are broadcast on various television stations around the globe. The TV outreach titled “Breakforth with Dr. Andy Osakwe” can be viewed weekly on TBN Africa, Hosanna Broadcasting Network, and NTA Makurdi, Benue State.

There are regular events at The Summit, which include the following:

• The Summit Conference – An annual convention
• Joy In The City – A city-wide miracles, signs and wonders outreach
• Week Of Increase – An annual financial empowerment seminar
• The Marriage Enrichment Seminar – A regular teaching on successful marital life
• The Freedom Service – A Healing and Deliverance School where people are taught how to receive and minister healing and deliverance, and how to live in health and in the Liberty of Christ.
• School Of Eschatology – A seminar on end-time events
• School Of Destiny – An intensive and practical training for all believers designed to equip them for the fulfilment of their destinies in Christ.
• S.T.A.G.E (Showcasing The Artistry of God’s Excellence) – A gospel based talent-hunt project in the creative fields of Arts and Entertainment.
